## About

Azraq builds a risk-intelligence platform for organisations that finance, develop, operate or insure data centres and other critical infrastructure. The software consolidates six risk dimensions — market demand, environmental exposure, infrastructure reliability, social and labour constraints, regulatory complexity and financial covenant performance — into a single continuously updated risk layer, and runs Monte Carlo simulations to produce lender-grade outputs such as value at risk, debt-service coverage distributions and covenant-breach probability. It aims to replace static, one-off consultant due-diligence reports. Founded in Abu Dhabi in 2024 by Alexandra Coleman, a chartered electrical engineer formerly at Arup and chief engineering officer at BeZero Carbon, the company came through The Utopia Studio's venture-building fellowship. In July 2026 it closed an oversubscribed pre-seed round led by Doha-based, QIA-backed A-typical Ventures; the amount was not disclosed.
