in5 Tech is the software / hardware incubator: subsidised DDA FZ-LLC, coworking, labs, investor access, GITEX showcasing. Apply with app_type=tech. Evergreen, no equity. This is the default in5 if you are a product company. It is still membership, not a seed fund. Hub71 is the Abu Dhabi analogue with a heavier incentive story. in5 is Dubai, lighter, closer to a campus licence than a sovereign programme.

## Desk take

A good first serious Dubai tech address if you will use the campus. A bad one if you wanted a cheque.

## Eligibility

For tech founders who want to incorporate and grow inside Dubai Internet City.
- Idea-stage to early-stage; an MVP, prototype or proof of concept is expected by pitch stage (a final business plan is not required)
- Sector: tech — AI, big data, robotics, machine learning, open APIs, digitalisation of traditional business
- Must be located in, or willing to relocate to, the UAE; team must be based in Dubai if accepted
- Rolling, year-round applications — no deadline
- Process: online form + business plan presentation, shortlisting, pitch to an expert committee, then free-zone incorporation

## Questions

### How is this different from Dtec?

Both are campus licences. in5 is Dubai Holding incubators (DIC / design / media cluster). Dtec is DSO. Visit both if you care about the building.

### Do they invest?

Not as a published standard cheque. Investor access is introductions.
