The UAE Golden Visa for entrepreneurs is a five-year, self-sponsored residency for founders of innovative projects that meet the published auditor / value tests (public materials cite AED 500,000+ on the project). Apply through ICP’s service page. Evergreen federal path, not a Dubai free-zone promo. Family sponsorship is part of the published offer. This is immigration. It is not a startup programme, not a grant, and not a reason we will list your company. You still need a real project and the documents they named.

## Desk take

Use the official ICP page. Anyone selling “guaranteed Golden Visa” is a PRO with a dream. The AED 500k test is the gate; we are not your auditor.

## Eligibility

For founders who own an innovative or tech project in the UAE and can prove its value.
- You must own a project of an innovative or future-oriented nature (tech/innovation focus required)
- A letter from an accredited auditor confirming the project value is at least AED 500,000
- A letter from the competent authority in your emirate (or an approved business incubator) confirming the project's innovative nature
- Passport valid for 6+ months and valid UAE health insurance
- Apply via ICP Smart Services (website or app) with UAE Pass; total ICP fees around AED 300

## Questions

### Does a free-zone licence equal a Golden Visa?

No. Licence is a company. Golden Visa is a federal residency product with its own tests.

### Is it ten years?

The entrepreneur path we indexed is the five-year product. The investor path on this board is the longer one.
