Dubai's nightlife and events scene generates enormous transactional volume, yet ticketing remains surprisingly fragmented — split between international platforms that don't understand the local market and venue-specific systems held together with spreadsheets and WhatsApp. Tickt is betting that this gap is large enough to build a standalone business.

The challenge is that venues and promoters have entrenched relationships, and switching costs aren't driven by technology — they're driven by trust and cash flow terms. With funding undisclosed and the team still small, Tickt will need to prove it can capture enough marquee venues to create a network effect before a better-capitalized competitor notices the opportunity.
