TrofeeLive shopping marketplace for sneakers, cards & collectibles

Dubai-based live commerce marketplace for sneakers, fashion, trading cards (Pokémon, One Piece, sports), sports memorabilia, and collectibles. Built in-house on native iOS (Swift, iOS 17+) and Android with Stripe Connect for payouts.

FROM THE EDITOR'S DESK

The founder pedigree here is the headline. Edward Sabbagh ran Farfetch's marketplace for eight years as Chief Marketplace Officer; Amine Mamlouk was Chief of Staff to Souq.com's CEO and a GM at Amazon. That is arguably the strongest two-person MENA marketplace bench you can assemble — the global luxury operator paired with the regional commerce native. FJ Labs (Fabrice Grinda) writing alongside BECO Capital reinforces the signal; Grinda has funded most of the world's category-leading marketplaces and rarely deploys in MENA.

Live commerce for collectibles, sneakers, and trading cards is timely — Whatnot turned the same playbook into a multi-billion-dollar US business in under five years. Siin's $3M raise in May 2026 confirms MENA live commerce is officially contested. Trofee's native-mobile, in-house stack (not white-labelled from Channelize or Bambuser) and 4.9★ Android rating suggest the team is building for product velocity rather than rented infrastructure. The real test arrives at the next round, when operator pedigree has to convert into category leadership before a better-capitalised US entrant decides MENA is the next frontier.
