TruKKer is the most heavily capitalized logistics startup in MENA history with $189 million from Mubadala and Investcorp. The ambition matches: digitizing freight trucking across 40+ countries with 60,000 trucks. The cross-border market between Gulf, Levant, and North Africa is massive, fragmented, and still largely intermediated by phone calls.

The bull case is that TruKKer becomes the Flexport of the Middle East. The bear case is that asset-light freight platforms have struggled globally — Convoy shut down, Flexport pivoted repeatedly — and that MENA trucking fragmentation is a feature of regulatory complexity, not a bug that technology alone can fix.
