Dubai announces One Million Prompters initiative

Dubai has launched the One Million AI Prompters initiative, aiming to train one million people in AI prompt engineering over the next three years. Announced by Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the program focuses on developing skills essential for leveraging generative AI effectively.

AI prompt engineering is crucial for maximizing the potential of generative AI, as it involves crafting precise instructions that guide AI systems to produce desired outcomes. To support this, the initiative will offer training courses, accredited certifications, and opportunities for networking and collaboration—preparing participants for the future workplace.

The program will also include competitions and platforms that allow talented individuals to engage with experts from across the technology ecosystem. By equipping participants with these skills, Dubai aims to position itself at the forefront of AI innovation and ensure its workforce is well-prepared for the evolving demands of the tech industry.
