The Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) in Dubai has introduced the 'SME in a Box' initiative, designed as a comprehensive package for new small and medium-sized enterprise founders. The program offers a unified platform for essential business services, including significant discounts and fee waivers valued at over Dh80,000.
The initiative seeks to make the business setup process more cost-efficient and straightforward, addressing common challenges faced by new entrepreneurs. It consolidates offerings from various partners, streamlining access to necessary resources.
Key partners involved include Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, du, Emirates NBD, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, Network International, Aramex, and DHL, providing a range of support from digital infrastructure to logistics.
