Executive Summary

Q2 2026 was not a broad early-stage surge — it was a concentration quarter. Eighteen named UAE-HQ deals we verified totaled roughly $478M in equity and strategic capital. One round — CargoX's $250M Series A for autonomous delivery — alone accounted for more than half of that stack.

The second theme is sovereign AI: CNTXT AI ($60M), Algebra AI ($7M), and dual-HQ 1001 ($30M) put Abu Dhabi and Dubai capital firmly into infrastructure and mid-market AI operations. BlueFive Capital showed up as lead or co-lead on the quarter's two largest equity checks.

The Q1 structural finding still holds. Series B remains thin: RemotePass's $17.4M was the only pure equity Series B in our named set. TruKKer's up-to-$300M ADCB debt facility is real scale capital — but it is not the local growth-equity fund the ecosystem still lacks. Broader industry tallies put UAE closer to ~$591M across ~37 deals; the gap is mostly unnamed mid-size rounds, not a different story.

By sector, logistics and AI flipped the usual fintech-led narrative for a single quarter, while proptech returned via smaller seed checks rather than another Stake- sized growth round...
