ekar is an Automotive startup based in Dubai, founded in 2016. App-based car-sharing service offering pay-per-minute, hourly and daily rentals across UAE and Saudi Arabia. Pioneered carsharing in the Middle East and remains the region's largest operator. It has raised $50M to date; its most recent round was a Series B ($17.5M, Nov 2019).
