Space42 Launches Three SAR Satellites to Expand Earth Observation Constellation
Space42 and ICEYE launch Foresight-3, 4, and 5 SAR satellites into Low Earth Orbit, expanding the UAE's Earth Observation constellation.
Space42 announced the successful launch of three synthetic aperture radar satellites — Foresight-3, 4, and 5 — into Low Earth Orbit, in partnership with ICEYE. The expansion strengthens the Abu Dhabi company's Earth Observation capabilities for government and commercial clients.
The new satellites enhance Space42's ability to deliver all-weather, day-and-night imaging, critical for maritime surveillance and disaster response in the MENA region. First-year pro forma results showed revenue of $363 million for nine months ending September 2025.
The constellation expansion underscores Space42's strategy to build a vertically integrated AI-powered space technology platform, combining satellite communications, Earth Observation, and geospatial analytics.
