Abu Dhabi's Space42 teams up with Australian Earth Observation firm to deliver SAR satellite data and carbon emissions analytics.
Space42 signed an agreement with LatConnect 60, an Australian Earth Observation provider, to collaborate on advanced geospatial intelligence solutions combining space-based data and analytics for government and commercial customers.
Under the deal, LatConnect 60 will access data from Space42's Foresight constellation. Data from LatConnect 60's upcoming SWIRSAT mission will also be integrated into Space42's AI-powered analytics platform following a 2026 launch.
The SWIRSAT satellites will collect high-resolution data on carbon emissions, enabling enhanced greenhouse gas analysis. The deal extends Space42's reach into climate-intelligence services alongside defence and infrastructure monitoring.
