Careem Pay partnered with GCash, the Philippines' leading mobile wallet, to digitize remittances for hundreds of thousands of Filipino workers in the UAE. The direct wallet-to-wallet integration allows funds to settle within minutes.
GCash said the deal is a key pillar of its 2026 global expansion targeting 10 million overseas Filipinos. Careem Pay is offering AED 20 cashback and zero fees on first transfers to mark the launch.
The partnership extends Careem Pay's remittance footprint, which expanded to 35+ countries in 2025 and set a record with a transfer to India completed in just 7 seconds.
